How to Pick the Right Shape
Rods for a C-Curl
Flex Rods create a rounded C-curl, the classic curled lift. Small, medium, large and X-large in the combo pack.
Shields for Length
Flex Shields give more lift and length with less curl. Small, medium and large, each shaped for the left or right eye.
Hybrids for Controlled Curl
Flex Hybrid Shields pair a rod base with a straight upward lift, so the result is lifted without over-curling. Small to X-large, left and right.
Flat Shields for Korean
Ultra Flex Flat Shields lay lashes flat for projection and length rather than curl: the shape Korean and freestyle lifts depend on.
Sizing, Hold and Care
Size with the measuring guide on the Elleebana Tree Tool: one of its branches is marked to show which size rod or shield to choose.
Elleebana's silicone forms need no adhesive on the back for the vast majority of clients. Adhesive goes on the front to hold the lashes, and Korean and glueless lifts hold them with lotion thickened with Elleemix Powder instead. See Adhesives.
Lift Lockers keep lashes straight and uncrossed on the form while they process: orange for the lift, clear for the set, black for photos.
Every form is made to be reused, and needs cleaning and sanitizing after each client. For the cleaning protocol, ask Ellee, our product expert at polymorphbeauty.com.
Lash Form FAQ
What is the difference between rods and shields?
Flex Rods create a rounded C-curl. Flex Shields give more lift and length with less curl. Flex Hybrid Shields sit between the two: lifted, without over-curling.
Which form do I need for a Korean lash lift?
Ultra Flex Flat Shields. The Korean look depends on lashes laid flat, which a curved rod or shield can't produce. They're also in the Korean Lash Lift Pack.
How do I choose the right size?
Use the measuring guide on the Elleebana Tree Tool, which shows which size rod or shield to pick. For anything beyond that, ask Ellee, our product expert at polymorphbeauty.com.
Do I need adhesive on the back of the form?
Not for the vast majority of clients. The silicone grips the lid on its own, which saves a step and avoids adhesive against the skin. Adhesive goes on the front, to hold the lashes on the form.
Can I lift without any adhesive?
Yes. Korean and glueless lifts hold the lashes with lotion thickened with Elleemix Powder. Elleeplex Profusion is the recommended system for both.
What are Lift Lockers for?
They hold lashes straight on the rod or shield through processing, so lashes don't cross or shift. They come in orange for the lift, clear for the set and black for photos, and work with other brands' forms too.
Are Elleebana forms reusable?
Yes. They're made from silicone designed for reuse, and need cleaning and sanitizing after every client. For the protocol, ask Ellee.
