Rods, Shields & Hybrids

Lash Lift Forms

The silicone your client’s lashes are shaped on. Rods build a rounder, more lifted curl, shields give a straighter fanned look, and hybrids sit between the two. Every form here comes in a combo pack so you carry a full size range rather than guessing one.

Choosing a Form

How to Pick the Right Shape

Rods for Curl

Flex Rods wrap the lash around a rounder profile, which reads as a dramatic, opened-up curl. Best on straight or downward-growing lashes that need real lift at the base.

Shields for a Fanned Look

Flex Shields lay the lash along a flatter surface for a natural, fanned finish. They suit longer lashes that would look overdone on a rod.

Hybrids for In Between

Flex Hybrid Shields borrow the curl of a rod and the fan of a shield, which makes them a safe default when you are still reading a new client’s lash.

Size Is Not Optional

A form that is too small over-curls and a form that is too large under-lifts. Combo packs exist so you can size to the eye rather than force one shape onto every client.

Common Questions

Lash Form FAQ

What is the difference between rods and shields?

Rods are round, so the lash curls up and around them for a lifted, opened look. Shields are flatter, so the lash lays along the surface for a straighter, fanned finish. Rods generally suit shorter or straight lashes, shields suit longer ones.

How do I choose the right size?

Match the form to the lid, not to the lash. The form should sit comfortably from the lash line to the brow bone without pressing into the crease. Sizing up gives a softer lift, sizing down gives more curl.

Are Elleebana forms reusable?

Yes. The silicone is designed to be cleaned and reused. Wash with soap and water, dry fully, and store flat so the shape does not distort.

What are Lift Lockers for?

Lift Lockers hold the form and the lashes in position while the lotion processes, so nothing shifts mid-service. They are especially useful on shorter lashes that will not stay put on their own.

Do I need adhesive with these?

Yes. Forms are held to the lid and lashes are held to the form with a lash lift adhesive. See the Adhesives collection for balm, powder and squeeze tube options.
